Dinosaurs and Petunias

The first part of the week Alex, Becky, and I headed to Vernal. I had to assist with a SOAR class there. To be honest, I adore the Vernal folks I work with over there, but the place itself, hmmm. Not so much of a fan. But having Alex and Becky there made it so much better. Some stories...

On the way to Vernal, we passed a trailer that had a mailbox by the road that simply said "SAM" on it.

I noted the petunias all over our hotel landscape, but as I headed deeper into Vernal... is petunia the official town flower?

There was a picture of a buffalo in our room. Alex was frightened of it.

Alex was also scared of the animal heads ALL OVER our hotel lobby. I had to carry him across the threshold everytime we passed it.

Alex was scared of that dinosaur that always gets dressed up for fancy occasions. That is why Becky is all by herself.

Alex likes to give talks on the podium, and often gets dramatic whilst doing so.

Thanks, Vernal RISE employees, for being so much fun!(Even though they won't read this)

Next adventure...Park City!

I love that picture of Alex! I guess you've got a preacher in training. I'm glad you had fun in Vernal, but I missed you here.
