So, I am on a quest. Nothing like Lord of the Rings, or anything. I'm on a quest to find a bike for Alex's 2nd birthday. A little too young? Yeah, that's what I say. The thing is, though, that Alex really, really likes bikes - and trikes. Now that it's warmer, he tries to get the neighbor's bike all the time, but he's too little. Anytime he sees a bike, he goes for it. In fact, I'm sure that the trike in mom and dad's garage will be his new obsession, just like it was last summer. The problem is, he's too little for everything that's available. There are a few little trikes out there that are tiny, but Alex's little legs aren't strong enough to push on the pedals, and he gets too frustrated. Really, their little legs don't get strong enough until they are closer to 3. So now what? Big wheels? Still not strong enough to push those pedals. Besides, there are no big wheels anymore- I don't know if you realized that. Well, we'll keep looking. Cross your fingers.

Good luck! Good bikes that are just the right size are hard to find! Ron always does our bike shopping. He usually ends up at a bike shop buying something really expensive. The funny thing is though, the boys favorite bike is one I bought years ago at a garage sale for $4.!! Hope you can find one that works for him! How cute!!! : )
